Zero Waste
As the name suggests, Zero Waste; It is a concept, a project and a philosophy that includes the collection and reuse of these wastes in a sorted form, in order to ensure that no waste remains after the manufacturing or consumption work is completed.
It is necessary to explain the Zero Waste philosophy with examples. Let's try to explain some products with manufacturing processes. Let's think of a porcelain factory... First of all, molds are prepared in accordance with the plan, the raw materials are prepared. Even if there are small mold defects, the reflection of this to the production takes place at very large levels. As a result, the plate or glass will come out very incorrectly. But if a control process is added in between, the production line will stop, that material will be pulled from there and it can be brought to a consistency that can be entered into the mold again. This could be a zero waste project.
Or consider an auto repair service. A steering box will change. But you couldn't convince the vehicle user that it could be repaired. This steering box is changed, the repair kit is bought, the old steering box is repaired and ready for use. This is also a zero waste project.
However, the branch we want to focus on is the part that is mostly on metal and electronics. Metals from motherboards and video cards of laptop and desktop computers are valuable. In addition to being valuable, these metals have a wide range of uses. For this reason, they are metals that are very much needed and have a high financial gain. For these reasons, elements such as silver, gold, platinum, palladium in the chips are separated and removed by some heat treatments and chemical processes. Again, these elements are brought together with their own chemical processes. It is sent for recycling from the gram weight account. After these processes, the companies that need them will be able to buy and process them again, contributing to the country's economy, the companies mentioned, and to the nature when considered worldwide. Because many metal wastes, unfortunately, are not easily soluble in nature. They are also harmful to animals and vegetation. And because they are valuable, zero waste projects are very important.
